All deposits are non-refundable. You will be able to apply your deposit to a future event. If weather related, read our weather policy below.

Function Flatables reserves the right to cancel a reservation at no penalty to you if there is a storm with heavy rain or winds over 20 mph. Safety for your children and guests, and the operation of our units is our first concern, however once the unit is delivered, there are no refunds due to bad weather. If we canceled your event due to inclement weather, we will issue you a full refund or a raincheck that is valid for 6 months.

*PLEASE NOTE, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS*
If there is rain in the forecast or inclement weather and YOU cancel within 24 hours of your delivery time, we will reschedule your event or issue a raincheck valid for 6 months. There are no refunds. Cancellations must be within that time frame or all payments will be forfeited.

It is imperative that someone at least 18 years of age will be on site to;
1. Pay remaining balance if there is any.
2. Go over and sign our Safety and Liability Waiver.

We are usually very busy on the weekends and to make sure we do not arrive late to our next paying customer, we will only wait 15 minutes. Sorry, no exceptions. If no one is at home or on site when we arrive after 15 minutes, the Driver will have to leave. There will be no refunds or rainchecks in the event that this happens. We will try our best to make it back for your setup, but we cannot promise.

After review of our safety guidelines and liability waiver, both the set up and the removal of our equipment takes between 20-30 minutes depending on where the unit is going to be set up. The renter (minimum of 18 years of age) must be present at the time of delivery.

If you rent 2 or more units, you will keep them all for the greater amount of time!

The best surface is level ground and on grass. However, any flat surface will work. Concrete, asphalt, parking lots, etc are most common. We prefer not to set up on sand because the bouncer gets full of sand. Let us know what type of surface you have for setup so we can be properly prepared. Please make sure that there are no underground sprinklers, buried telephone cables, electrical lines at the perimeter of the bounce site. Let us know at time of booking what type of surface we will be setting up on. There will be a sandbag fee for any setup besides grass.

Our bouncers must be within 50 – 100 foot reach of a dedicated 15 amp circuit and two separate outlets for the larger units. Once the bouncer is completely inflated, it takes about as much electricity to run as a fan. As stated, the larger units which requires 2 blowers also requires two separate outlets that
are not on the same breaker. If you do not have electricity available, we have generators available for an extra charge.

Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That’s why we require an outlet within 50 feet of the unit or generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so bring our own heavy duty cords.

No. Most parks do not have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. You must also check with Parks and Recreation to make sure that it is permissible. Sometimes a permit is required from the park. We will not issue a refund if we deliver your unit and is not able to set up or if we are called to come and pick it up. However, we will try and reschedule for another day if your unit is available.

As soon as possible! Our reservations are based on a first come first served basis, so the sooner you contact us the better. Reservations are not confirmed until the deposit is paid. If there’s availability, you can book as late as the day before your event and sometimes the day of, but there may not be a huge selection left. There is a $25 inconvenience fee for same day bookings.

We do at $80 per attendant, but we are not offering those services for backyard parties at this time.

As the Renter, you must assign a responsible adult (over the age of 18) to supervise the children while the bounce is in use. The assigned adult must know all of the safety rules and ensure that the rules are being enforced. You as the Renter are responsible for the safety of the children and for the care of our equipment. There is a rental agreement that must be signed by the renter prior to the start of the event. A credit card is required to be on file in case of damage to our equipment during the event and will be needed during the time of booking.

The first thing we like to tell people is.. “Measure”. Make sure you know where you want your bounce house rental, and make sure there is enough room. Also, make sure your outside plug is working. That means.. plug something in and test it! We need electricity within 50-100 feet minimum. The second thing is, mow your lawn the day before, not the same day or the morning of set up. It will help keep the bounce house clean for your kids’ enjoyment. Also, if you have a dog, please clean the yard of any waste before we come. It will help to keep odors away while your kids are jumping, and will prevent any soiling of our units. If you have a waterslide rental, don’t water your lawn for a few days before your party. Waterslides use a lot of water, and if your grass needs it, it will absorb it a lot better if it is dry.

Unfortunately, yes. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens, please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. If however, damage occur due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not
turning off the blower in high winds, jumping with shoes and sharp objects on clothing, bubble gum, fireworks etc.) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc. which can cost thousands of dollars. We do not want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety and liability rules so that you can be the trained operator.
